I've never compared some of my old drawings before but I have tried to re-draw or improve from an old one. In the past I have done alot of re-colourings instead <o<
The first drawing I have ever re-drawn was Sakura and Syaoran, a drawing of one originally made by CLAMP. I loved these two since I can remember, grew up loving this pair and will always be my most favourite pairing in the world of anime >w<. The first SxS drawing I've ever made was ...I have no idea when ._. but it was one of my most best drawn back in the day :U a couple of years later I obviously improved 8D and decided to give it another go to see how much I have improved. I drew it for my dear cousin (whom I didnt end up giving it to as I never finished it before I left T^T) but ended up keeping it myself ;w;. Comparing the two I have greatly improved in body proportions, hands, hair and colouring.

The second is of 'Let it Snow', my very first fanart of Kobato after falling in love with the anime

. There is clearly something wrong with fai's hand, head/hair too large, hair is too yellow <_<, Kobato's structure is too squashed, her hair is everywhere .0.
Ok back then I was still experimenting with different hand forms soo Fai's hand looks a bit creepy :U and flat. The colouring was done with mixed medias and was done pretty poorly as I didn't have much of an idea of what/how I would colour their clothes T_T (not good at designing/making up clothes). Later one I decided to try again with his hand which I swear was haunting me ever since I finished it last time and I felt like cutting out his hand o no! Soo I edited his creepy old hand, noticed his head was drawn far too high for someone who was sorta crouching his back, fixed his hair to suit, notice kobato looked way too squished into herself and her elbow really looked out of place <_<;;. My colouring improved greatly as well c: gave the two some patterns on their clothes to give the picture more 'life' and yeh :L
